Kaska Dena: Dease River First Nation (Kaska: Délı̨nę) meaning "People of the Land" is one of four First Nations within the Kaska Dena Council, with traditional territory spanning northern British Columbia and southern Yukon.
Population: Our community consists of approximately 200 registered members with strong ties to our ancestral lands along the Dease River watershed.
Location: Headquartered in Quesnel, BC, our traditional territory extends through the boreal forests and mountainous regions of northern British Columbia.
Culture: We maintain our Kaska language and traditional practices while participating in modern economic opportunities including natural resource partnerships and cultural tourism.
